CREATIVE WELLBEING WORKSHOPS
I offer small group workshops, in accessible settings in East Bristol (see location details below).
These are friendly, a little bit witchy and welcoming to all, from beginners to those who've done a little before. They usually feature macramé in some way, full details are on each listing.
The emphasis is on the enjoyment of learning, and the mindful benefits of craft, giving yourself space to slow down, unplug and focus on the calming rhythm of knotting and creating.
These sessions offer more than just a finished piece - they provide a sense of accomplishment, help reduce stress, spark joy, and connect you to others through shared creativity.
Creative wellbeing workshops are a powerful way to relax, recharge, and reconnect with your creative self.

WORKSHOP LOCATIONS
I currently hold workshops in the following locations. Full venue information will be sent after booking.
Warmley Clocktower Association, Tower Road North , Warmley, BS30 8XU.
This venue is usually on a ground floor with no steps, and has a wheelchair lift if the second floor is used. There is free parking at the venue.
Page Community Association, Page Road, Staple Hill BS16 4NE
This is an accessible ground floor venue. There are two short stay car parks nearby (charges apply) and a longer stay car park within walking distance.
Warmley Community Centre, Deanery Rd, Warmley, BS15 9JB
This is a ground floor venue with ramp access at the front. The venue has ample free parking.
BESPOKE SESSIONS
I can also offer bespoke sessions, perfect for a celebration gathering or workplace wellbeing session. Contact me to discuss your needs and we can create a session tailored to you and your budget.

I'm Karen, fibre artist and creator of Jessica Rose Homecrafts.
I've always used creativity as an outlet and relaxation tool, you'll either find me making something or outdoors hiking!
With a background working in mental health, palliative care and latterly animal care, I really recognise and understand the need for self-care and taking time out of a busy work and family life to do something just for you!
Craft is one of the best ways to practice mindfulness and meditation, and I'm passionate about encouraging others to discover and develop their creativity, enjoying the process without the pressure to make something 'perfect'.

I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society and work within their ethical principles, values and good practice.
