I'm Karen, founder, designer and maker at Jessica Rose Homecrafts. I'm a child of the 70s and have always loved the textural beauty of macramè!
Why the name? As a child my parents had a wool shop named using mine and my sister's middle names, and I have many fond memories of time spent there, so it felt right to give a nod to that nostalg

Why the name? As a child my parents had a wool shop named using mine and my sister's middle names, and I have many fond memories of time spent there, so it felt right to give a nod to that nostalgia and name my business after my two biggest supporters, my children.

All the macramè you'll find here is designed and made by me. Most of my work is a one off, and won't be replicated in the same way.

My work is very much inspired by the world around us, both seen and unseen.
I work intuitively, knotting with intention.
I follow a very neo pagan, witchy path in my life, so a lot of my work reflects this.
Sustainability is a big part of my ethos, everything I use, from raw materials to packaging is either recycled, reclaimed, recyclable

I'm passionate about sharing my love for macramè, and hold several small group workshops throughout the year.
